

The late breakfast staple of toasted-everything-bagel-with-cream-cheese-tomato-and-sprouts is done right at
Verb cafe on
Bedford ave where Lee and I now dwell. They pile the shit on both halves of the bagel, which is perfectly chewy and crunchy in it's own right. Plus the
baristas demonstrate their mastery of the espresso machine by making a little
fleur-
de-
lis in the froth on your latte. Then you can sit there like Lee and read or count things like pencil-thin moustaches, ironic ascots, or identical plaid flannel shirts on the young folks passing by.
